Dairy Innovation Australia Limited (DIAL) leads R&D in the areas of food technology, engineering, microbiology, health and nutrition for the Australian Dairy Industry. In providing cutting-edge solutions in these areas we partner and fund research with private research organizations, research Institutes, universities and Government bodies.

DIAL is a Registered Research Agency and also offers grants complying with the requirements of the Australian Competitive Grants Register.

DIAL engages with researchers in several ways, including
- As an active research collaborator
- Through industry relevant fee-for-service projects
- As an industry funding partner in projects supported by the ARC Linkage scheme or other funding sources
- As a project funding body through competitive grants

DIAL aims to develop capability and innovative solutions in the science and engineering disciplines that contribute to dairy manufacturing, sourcing these from both Australian and international groups. DIAL is continually seeking to deliver value and profitability for our members and clients within the dairy sector as a whole. Our research funding and studentship programs aim to support these goals.
